As a tanker the ship was known under the names Seawise Giant,Happy Giant, and Jahre Viking. The has a draft of 24.6m(81 feet) when fully loaded, which makes it impossible for her to navigate the English Channel, let alone the man-made canals at Suez and Panama.
Mighty Servant 1
Mighty Servant 1 is able to carry heaviest semi-submersivle drilling unit, harsh environment deep water jack-up rigs and large floating prouducation platforms with draft of up to 14 meters. The specially strengthened cargo deak of 150 meter long by 50 meters wide provides an unequalled support for these types of cargo. The vessel -in empty conditionis capable of achieving a minimum draft of 4 mwters, which allows berthing alongside shallow draft load-out quays.
